We believe in offering feeding recommendations in calories gives a far better optimal nourishment.

“Cat are fussy” is often a notion associated with trying new foods and flavours, however most foods cats like to eat have been coated in tempting sprays or powders such as hydrolysed liver spray – how natural does that sound! or they are loaded with carbs and sugars which are just no good for their health. We highly recommend when transitioning your cat onto our baked bites that you try a gradual introduction to their existing food over 5-10 days.

The nutritional requirement of individual Cats and Dogs varies according to size, age and activity level. The information given is intended only as a guide, and any specific dietary requirement should always be considered under consultation with your veterinary clinician.

Packaging

This is an area we spent a great deal of time to get right, we chose a recycled and recyclable option as we believe it is better for a truly circular economy. Biodegradable in plastics, even paper feel would take 100’s of years to biodegrade and often the inks and glues used are not biodegradable, and when it eventually does break down it never really goes, instead turning into tiny particles that are airborne or end up in our oceans. There is also a marketing trick many companies use in packing their smaller ranges in biodegradable material to make a claim on their packaging and then use regular plastics on the larger sizes which are only chemically recyclable, something that is not widely available.

At NutriWolds we believe in transparency and we are passionate about packaging reduction especially our use of plastic, this will be an area that we constantly invest and develop.
